Windmill Hill aims to have strong governance which holds school leaders to account for school improvement. Governors will know the school's strengths and weaknesses because they will receive regular reports from school leaders on key areas of the school's work, such as pupils' progress. They will also help the headteacher and school leaders to maintain their focus on improving the school.

I have considerable levels of energy and resilience coupled with a good sense of humour and an ability to keep everything in perspective. These are qualities I believe are important in a Governor. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills and I have played a key role in implementing and delivering the college's strategic business plan. I have first-hand insights from young people in Luton. This isn’t just from working at the college, but being born and raised in Luton is a huge contributor to this also. I have strong communication skills and believe this will be a huge enabler for me to add value as a school governor.
