Curriculum Pathways

Students at Windmill Hill are grouped into four Pathways. These Pathways reflect the different aspirational outcomes for students upon leaving Windmill Hill.

The delivery of the curriculum looks different in each Pathway, to suit the individual needs of students, and to support students in reaching their intended outcomes.

Each individual pathway will use a personalised approach to ensure that students are supported appropriately to access the curriculum. Learning will look different in each of our pathways and will reflect the wide range of needs we will meet at Windmill Hill.

Below are images outlining each Pathway’s:

  • Intent (What we are trying to achieve)
  • Implementation (How we do it)
  • Impact (How we know it has worked)

Following this are the curriculum statements for our key stages, building on the core philosophy of developing social capital as the key component for supporting our students to become:

  • Successful Learners
  • Confident Individuals
  • Responsible Citizens
